Which games have you beaten?

Post by Jethro » Jun 29th, 2005, 02:58

After some thinking I came to conclusion that I've played alot of games, but fully (or at least mostly) finished only a few of them. That's the list:
- Blood (first episode only)
- Blood 2 & Blood2: Nightmare levels
- Unreal (and ALOT of UT SP mods)
- StarCraft (Terran and Zerg episode, I got stuck in "rescue Tassadar" mission (thats 5th one I think)) and Brood War (Protoss episode only, I've got stuck in the middle of Terran episode)
- Gothic 2
- most of Wolfenstein's episodes
- Morrowind

Ofcourse there are more games I've played but I never managed to finish them.
So, how about You? What games did you beaten?
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die

- H. P. Lovecraft

Off the top of my head (without going to ridiculous games) :

- Diablo
- Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 : Lord of Destruction
- Deus Ex
- Blood and Blood : Plasma Pak
- Blood 2 and Blood 2 The Nightmare Levels
- Duke Nukem
- Baldur's Gate II Shadows of Amn and Baldur's Gate II Throne of Bhaal
- Red Alert
- Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 2 : Yuri's Revenge
- Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Sun : Firestorm
- WarCraft : Orcs and Humans
- WarCraft III
- Civilisation
- Civilisation II
- Colonization
- Master of Orion
- Master of Orion II
- Lord of the Rings : Return of the King
- Painkiller
- Unreal Tournament
- Half-Life, Half-Life Opposing Force and Half-Life Blueshift
- Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
- Dune 2
- Dune 2000
- Emperor : Battle for Dune
- Call of Duty
- Shadow Warrior
- StarCraft and StarCraft : Broodwar
- Double Dragon

That's all I can think of for now. When I get a game, I usually force myself to play until I win. The most difficult game ever is 'Dark Reign'.

I once tried coming up with a list like that. I used to have too much free time in the past, and I played way too many games, therefore it's way too hard for me to answer to this question.

Where the difficulty is to get it work with a computer that has already a DirectX 4.0 or above installed

Truly a great game.

Having grown up with games as a main interest, this question whould take me WAAY too long to awnser. Lets just say that if i find a game better than average, i will beat it. However, lately i've bought too many games at once, so now i can't decide what game to beat next. I usualy end up wanting to try the next game in the middle of another one, and thus i have many games at the moment unbeaten.

Too many of them.. But most of them are oldies, I haven't been playing games for like 4 years now... I probably beat one game per year for the past 5 years. I'm a washed up gamer...

Oh, I did beat Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty last night. Now I can say that it is one of the best games I've ever played.

Not many games... In no particular order what so ever...

-Powerslave for the Sega Saturn
-Quake 2 on PC
-Terminator on Master System
-Streets of Rage 1 and 2
-Quake
-Duke3D
-Street Fighter 2
-House of the Dead 2
-Panzer Dragoon Zwei and PD Saga
-Serious Sam (If not beating the Boss doesn't count, otherwise I actually didn't... you get the point)
-Contract Jack
-Nights Into Dreams
-Double Dragon (Both Genesis and Master System)
-Thunder force 4

Edit:Forgot to add the last 4 on the bottom...

Attempting to hopefully complete Blood 2, Perfect Dark at least on Special Agent, Quake 3's SP mode and Painkiller.
Wish me luck!
