EDIT!! : Quiz over. I have released info, see below

Allrighty, Im not sure how the guessing system should go. I guess you guys could negotiate it in this thread...

Anyway, the idea is to recognize what movies are these snapshots from. Some are harder, some are easier. I tried to avoid some cliche shots that everyone knows.

signatures are irrelevant. they are for those naive simpletons, who think that they can sum their whole life philosophy in several worlds.

Im sure it's just friday, people are running around the countryside howling for moon and damsels in distress, but was this quiz a bit too hard?

I'll wait for some time, and maybe I will give some tips.. (?)
Or shall we wait couple years? :D

Man, I must say, excellent idea for a thread, Umnir!
But yeah, you really did avoid using cliche shots! The only ones I know are 16 is "The Warriors" (most obvious of them all!) and 19 is "Gladiator"
Up for some BloodBath action, via DOSBox? If so, send me a P.M.

It's weird really... I thought everyone will ram their answers in one big band and it's all over... Well, we'll see when all people notice this thread.

i disagree, the most obvious is first shot which is from sin city. the grinning guy with pistol barrel driven into forehead is unforgettable view. seems i have to watch it again. that's probably all i have to say in this topic for now, as i am the type of guy who watched the third part of lord of the rings one week ago for the first time.

Well i'm sorry but im lost when it comes to naming classic, cult, movies etc. I don't watch alot, heck theirs probably tons of brilliant movies i've probably never heard or seen. Watching isn't exciting like gaming where you have a purpose rather than sit around staring at a screen. That sentence sums up why i watch less than 3 hours TV a day probably.

I don't watch much TV either, since it's full of shit. But where games have "purpose", movies have strong well written story.. not to mention better characters, and that movies are completely different form of art.

Cheers!

But some games have proven to have better written stories than movies do.

It's just that movies are a passive form of entertainment, whereas games require your mental and/or emotional involvement to actually immerse yourself into the flow of things. You can just sit in front of the TV and stuff chips in your mouth as the movie goes on without paying much attention.

The reason why I don't watch TV is because there's nothing ever on. When I feel like watching a movie, I just do it at the computer.

In my books, movies are more emotionally challenging as games (and they usually are). Very few games have been truly emotionally challenging.

You are correct about games requiring you to be active, but if "movie passes without paying much attention" you are watching wrong movie, propably some popcorn entertainment.
