All time best film ever let alone favorite is The Big Lebowski
and for me pretty much every other Coen Brother film.
So top five would be...
1 The Big Lebowski (i'll only mention one Coen film to be more interesting)
2 Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
3 Shaun of The Dead
4 Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2 and most likely 3)
5 The Incredibles
Now most of these i've picked based on ammount of enjoyment and re-watchability
since i've see all of them at least three times each if not more, there are lots of other films
but while good they might not be re-watchable like 'O Lucky Man!' for instance.

The Great Lebowski is really appealing movie, but I never understood the actual point of it. But amg, that sceene where the guys scatter their friend's ashes is... unforgetable. :'D

Oh man, how could I forget it? really great movie!Dimebog wrote:The Frightenes
Nice one, but I think that's just 3 episodes put together. Chris Carter said that in this movie you should finaly get some answers. I say you only get more questionsDimebog wrote:The X Files movie

Hmmpfh, it was.... strange, no really intreresting story in it I'd say. But that's your choiceCruaich wrote:I'd have to say "The Mummy" (1999)

I liked both of them, Sin City for visuals and storyline, US for really complex and unpredictable plot.Cruaich wrote:Sin City

I watched Goodfellas again last night, forgot how good that film is.

Seems our movie tastes are startingly similar at times, my man. I wonder, what's your favourite scene from this atmospheric, badly acted movie? Also, have you seen the original?Dimebog wrote:- House On The Hounted Hill remake

We should watch some movies sometime at Jarmo's place.

Blood + Focus = Love · Faith is the key · Heretics and traitors cannot stand before us · Some games are self-perpetuating - Blood requires conscientious communal effort to survive · We are the last line · Ask not for whom the main menu animates · Blood's promotion and survival - all other gaming considerations are secondary · More than just a game · Need a hint? · Make a standKazashi wrote:Daedalus, I don't care how much you know about Blood, your attitude has to change.
The original movie was brilliant. However, in this particular case, I put the remake on my favourite list. To be honest, I would have to watch the movie again, to tell you what would be my favourite sceene. This movie is so unique in its appeal, firstly because it gives the impression of being strangely realistic in it's idea, skillfuly avoiding stupid "haunted house" clichés. Second, the movie puts details in front of the big picture, and that is somewhat the way your brain works when youre scarred. The details are what made me like this movie.
EDIT: Ok, maybe the sceene where protagonists discovered the "galleria".

The Thing (1982 remake) - that was excellent! I just love John Carpenter, nearly all his films are brilliant, some of my personal favorites of his work include: The Fog, Halloween, They Live, (the highly under-rated) Prince Of Darkness, The Thing, Assault on Precinct 13 and Escape From New York. P.S. Now I know where you got your new avatar Daedolon, I like it!
Yeah, I've been a huge fan of his work for quite some time now, my favourite movies from him are exactly the ones you just listed there!Metroid47 wrote:I just love John Carpenter, nearly all his films are brilliant
