Has anyone got the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark trilogy books by Alvin Schwartz and the scary artwork by Steven Gammel? Nowadays they updated the books w/ new artwork which is lame.
Language bearers, Photographers, Diary makers. You with your memory are dead, frozen.
Lost in a present that never stops passing.
Here lives the incantation of matter. A language forever.

Like a flame burning away the darkness. Life is flesh on bone convulsing above the ground.

I may have read these tomes aeons ago. Does a story taking place at a fog-drenched bus stop ring any bells?
