While I still don't like gargoyles that much, I must say that is definitely your best work (that I have seen)! I really love the colours you have chosen and the shading is just superb. A lot of the textures are totally awesome as well, like the sky, the fur and the water for example. Keep it up!

Impressive artwork, Hellen.

It's always a pleasure to see the effort that you put into your creations.

Bruce Campbell. Perhaps his manliness would destroy the current gay forum theme.

Woaaaaa, totally awesome. Shadows are great, and his face is perfect, the chin and all. The hand is impressive as well.

Congratulations !

Agreed. Great use of grayscale and shading for depth, and detailing is sharp where it needs to be.

How do you do your artwork? Do you use traditional materials and then scan, or do you start straight off with computer tools and drawing tablets, etc.?

Myself, I've only ever routinely done pencil and pen artwork. Shading gives me serious problems so I try for outline-heavy styles that don't require it so much. I'm still very much a noob though.

If only chins could kill...
I draw entirely with the tablet these days. But it doesn't mean I don't do spontaneous pencil doodling at work.

Perhaps I should start taking commissions to raise $600 for a fursuit...

Hellen, do you think of doing another Blood picture sometime in the future?

Do you have a fursuit and/or $600?

But seriously, maybe I will and maybe I won't. I can't tell for sure now.
