Just pre-ordered Shadow Warrior on Steam. Let's hope he's serious about this.

You should pre-order it because you want to play it, not because some PR guy said he wants to do something with Blood.

I wanted to play it anyway.

Honestly, I'd rather have the source code released than a half-assed "modern" remake

Prepare to see a new wave of product placements, KFC to be specific, in exciting, upcoming titles.

It's very disheartening to see how desperate people have become for the Blood source code. It's entirely understandable, but it's beginning to feel like developers can tax the hope of Bloodites just with a passing reference to, in theory, supporting Blood's liberation in some manner.

Just got a response to my e-mail:
Thanks for the support! Not sure how easy it will be on the Blood front but we will try!
Of course no mention of the source code or anything specific, which was to be expected.

It's a small chance that this will result in a source code release, but at least it's something. And we do have BloodXL coming up as well, so I remain hopeful for the future of Blood.

A proper source port is the only way out of this nightmare. Let no effort go to pork projects and never lose faith in the power of Hall.

I used to think this way. Wanting the exact behaviour of the original game. No recreation. But I've lost hope for the source code. It's not going to be released anytime soon, so I think our best bet is BloodXL.

I absolutely agree with you. I hope Jace can do something to bring Blood to life. But now I trust in Lucius because he always brings us updates and news, and the Oculus Rift compatibility makes BloodXL a very interesting choice better than Blood TC.
Cabal's Return Add-On. Wait for it.

Looks like Atari USA is out of bankruptcy and severing ties w/ Atari SA. Hopefully Jace could resume talks w/ them soon.
