Saw this over at the deathmask.net forums. This is an upcoming movie starring Stephan Weyte providing his excellent voice. I thought I'd post it here so it does not get missed.

Funny little side note.. I was supposed to provide voicework for this movie originally but I never got the time and I guess they went with mr. Weyte instead. They made a good choice there because I would never have been able to match his work. This movie looks very interesting.

Blood the Movie?
Maybe this is why we need a Blood 3 or a reboot....
Also Stephan still sounds like Caleb although I notice his voiced has aged there but maybe it would still work perfectly for Caleb though infact he sounds perfectly as a narrator.

That's one great new Caleb quote there at the end that can be used in any future Blood projects. That little bit with the animated car driving into the woods felt Blood inspired. What a voice!

From watching it, I have strongly mixed feelings on it. On one hand, it makes me think of the recent trend in horror to focus on gore rather than anything genuinely scary.
On the other, that kind of makes sense considering the source material; how many 90's FPS games really had much of a plot to move them along? I may absolutely love Blood, but the story is pretty weak to me. And let's not forget Doom's "Demons... but they're in space" approach.
However it turns out, it looks really interesting and I think I'll enjoy watching it, good or bad.
