Are you talking about Tedd? Well if so, I do believe it is woman.

Some quick screenshots from the map I'm working on :

I'm very slow in the progress of my map, but it lives on.
Tedd is much more advanced, he has at least 5 maps finished and 3 almost done. I'm talking about architecture because when it comes to weaponry and enemies nothing is finished.

The former screenshot irritates me slightly, while the dark lighting appeals to me I find it is lacking in furnishing and objects. Add to it a stream of cobwebs, a clockface or indeed a number of paintings, given the room some life, some realism. In it's current state it appears rather empty.
Re: A future Blood Add-On from France [FRENCH MEAT]
Actually you don't see it completely, there's a painting on a wall, some tools and some meat bins too. But thanks for the feedback. This is far from being complete anyway.

Re: A future Blood Add-On from France [FRENCH MEAT]
Having so many different wall textures makes the first screenshot honesty look like a bit of a mess. That plus the second screenshot completely lacks lighting (try thinking of the ceiling lights as spotlights aiming down, for example, you could even use the grills to create some interesting lighting).

Re: A future Blood Add-On from France [FRENCH MEAT]
Ill add one.. In the 2nd screenshot, the brown radio texture with the 4 units is stretched a bit too wide. There is a default size for a sector so that the texture will fit with no stretching at all. Honestly, I try and stretch textures across a sector as little as possible when building. It just looks better and more realistic that way.
Re: A future Blood Add-On from France [FRENCH MEAT]
Well the brown radio texture isn't really supposed to be a radio here...but I don't find it weird when I look at it.
As to the lightning, there's another rack of ceiling lights just above Caleb's head in the screenshot, it's a ton of lights and since light spreads everywhere I don't see why it should be aimed down most of all. As to the too many different textures...I don't find it messy but this point of view may not give the same result than when you can move around the map. I guess it's all about taste.
But thanks for the feedblack as well wangho and Daedolon, I'll see what I can do with that (i'm gonna run some tests for the lightning effect, and see if the stretched texture is really shocking).

Quite good screenshots though I not so like the expanded teeth at the left on the first. I tried to use them in NAITD when did worms, but have as a result understood that at this texture very narrow application.

My biggest gripe honestly is just the stone mountain texture on the regular wall in the first shot.

I really like the 1st screenshot mainly because of all the textures. The hallway would just look boring if there was only one texture. Good job, both of you.

Han !! Thanks.
Tedd (my co-worker) told me that the grey color of the wall could be distracting and seem weird but there are other part of the map in the temple with grey stone architecture so normally it goes okay in the level. I'll change the texture though I guess, I have to try some things.
