Bloody Pulp Fiction Addon Released!!

Post by wangho » May 19th, 2009, 11:07

The addon is released!! http://www.moddb.com/mods/bloody-pulp-fiction

This is a DosBox version only, which means it'll load the addon and DosBox at the same time and will not overwrite any files in your Blood directory. Hopefully soon, there will be a NON DosBox version.

Enjoy, and let us know what you think or if you have any questions...

There doesn't seem to be anything in the 'Downloads' section for now. If you've just uploaded it, there has to be some time before it becomes active (but you can see it for the time).

Well you can download it here just in case you don't have it or if you don't know how to work with it here's a tutorial video just in case you don't how to run it.

It seems that the program was never posted on there.

You can download it here.
It is not necessary anything download.
DosBox 0.72 it is already included in BPF and will start it automatically.
Therefore it also is called "DosBox Version"

Is it just me or I see nothing on there that has really been updated? :(

I think you may had made a mistake while uploading it.

As I said, ModDb takes a while to authorize the upload. It may appear in the next hours or a day or so.

So Wangho, could you also post the game on the official website or simply on here?

When I run it I get an error saying "BARF.EXE not found".

This is a slightly updated version which includes the Non DosBox version so that you can run the .exe native and without automatically loading DosBox. BARF.exe is also included since some have had a problem without it. If you are running win98 or VDMSound, this would be the preferred method. Go get it! The updated 1.1 version is on the page!

A few tips!

- Don't move around in the car rides or you will fall right out. The problem is that the sliding sectors are moving very fast and the player has the tendency to fall off of quick moving sectors. So just keep still!

- There is a nasty bug which can pop up from time to time in BPFE1M4 (Old Desert Town) which will crash the game. None of the playtesters had a problem with the particular map, so it may be my machine.

- Save OFTEN!

RedFanatic is the mod at the deathmask site, so he'd have to upload it there and the addon is too large for blood.freeminded.de

I wonder if anyone could make a walkthrough of this game? (such as finding all the secret areas for the most part)

Also everytime I try to level skip cheat (mario XX) while trying to access to the levels from the third episode (like "mario 3 8 for example), the game just crashes. why is that?

Also there's a crashing bug in E1M5 which in the begginng of the level if you look at the lava cross the game just crashes.
