Theoretically you can search all TX\RX and his commands before 100.
Cause we can explode bombs by switch and maybe we can do other things.

Im search some TX\RX but found nothing
Maybe you be more lucky

Hi guys. I have a little problem with doors.

I have two doors: a Star Trek door and a Doom door. Both doors are activated by a normal sector. I tried several setting but doors don't open.

Here's the settings

Have you set the z-motion doors' on and off positions in 3D mode?

Yes, I set ON and OFF positions in 3D Mode.

I check Doom door and seems work fine.

Of course. Here's an extract from Michael Shire's manual.
Spoiler: show
F9 -Auto stair builder. Highlight a group of sectors, then point to an adjoining sector floor or ceiling and press F9. Type 8 or 12, then press (S)tep height. The floor or ceiling you point to will be the lowest step, and carry all the way for the sectors selected.

" I was going to add a function to build stairs automatically, but some of Ken's variables for handling highlighted sectors are static and I can't access them. I'll try to get him to change this and add this in a later version.

" Peter implemented a raw auto stair builder. Create your stair sectors in 2D mode, without (unnecessarily) changing the heights in 3D mode. In 2D mode, use the R.Alt key to select all the stairs you want to auto-height adjust. In 3D mode, point to a sector outside the selected stairs that you want use as the base height for the stairs and press F9. Enter the stair height in pixels. Use 8 or 12 pixels or risk death by immolation; other stair heights will be too tall to walk over. Expect more cool additions in the future!"

You need to rename the CPART07.AR_ and CPART15.AR_ files to TILES007.ART and TILES015.ART respectively. Should be easy enough to make a small batch file for that.

Or you can just start CRYPTIC.EXE and then kill dosbox/cryptic process :)

If you start Cryptic Passage, it will replace (by renaming) the ART files. It reverts them back to normal whenever you close it, so basically closing DOSBox with Cryptic Passage on would mean you still have your Cryptic Passage artwork in use.

Hello. I have a little problem with rotate sectors.

I made some gears using this settings.
Spoiler: show
Type: 617: Rotate
RX: 7

Off>On

busytime: 80
wave=linear

On>Off

wave=linear

FX.....

[X] Drag.
In fact, every gear rotates constantly - like E3M2 - but my main aim is to control gears movement with a switch. I want the player activate and deactivate gears when necessary.

I tried a constant movement using ON->OFF and OFF->ON settings but wasn't the effect I was looking for.

Any idea?

The error is in your receiving Id, in this case '7'. (RX: 7)

'7' is a special flag reserved for single player level initiation. It means that upon the level beginning, the gear will constantly turn. You'll need to create a unique Id (100+) and have a switch transmit that Id and set the gear to receive it.

Proceed.
