Stephan Weyte should join The Postmortem.
Since Jace Hall surprised us by joining The Postmortem. Should the voice of Caleb (Stephan Weyte) follow suit? Anyone agree? I'm just daydreaming about it.

Language bearers, Photographers, Diary makers. You with your memory are dead, frozen.
Lost in a present that never stops passing.
Here lives the incantation of matter. A language forever.
Like a flame burning away the darkness. Life is flesh on bone convulsing above the ground.

The appearance of Jace Hall and any appearance of Stephan Weyte come from two different circumstances. It sounds like you think Jace just popped in to be part of the community, nothing more, and that Stephan "should" follow suit.
Jace came here on business, to get input and feedback for his vision on Blood.
There is no "should" for Stephan Weyte to join here.

OK then. I just didn't get the full picture.

That would definitely be cool. If you can throw in Lani Minella as well, we'd have a trifecta right there.DustFalcon85 wrote:Since Jace Hall surprised us by joining The Postmortem. Should the voice of Caleb (Stephan Weyte) follow suit? Anyone agree? I'm just daydreaming about it.
Stephan Weyte's singing in-game ranges from the "crack me up uncontrollably" deadpan to the "holy shit, that's freakin' scary". When you think about it, it speaks to some real voice talent there when a few throwaway snatches of two-line songs can add that much audio value to the game.
Without Weyte, Caleb would be just another anonymous vague FPS protagonist in the middle distance. It was Weyte's boneyard-dry wit and grisly dark humor that really brought the character to unlife for me.
"THAT'S RIGHT. WHOOOOOOOO'S LAUGHING NOW!!!!!"

"...Ticket pleeease?..."
It would certainly be neat if he dropped by here once in a while.

That enters the pervasive and unfortunate territory of 'Internet meme culture'. There are a great deal of stencils of this nature with various expressions for use in just about any exchange. As for the actual source image this is taken from, I couldn't tell you.

Let me see if I got this right. You deliberately cluttered your own post with a rather mediocre caricature of someone stupid instead of calling DustFalcon85 stupid using your keyboard, wasted 20kb of my bandwidth and to top it off, there's like a whole encyclopedia about this garbage? come on! don't smileys cut it anymore?

Well maybe creating a post about Stephan joining The Postmortem was probably a bad idea. Am I wrong?

Discussion which concerns Blood directly or indirectly is never a bad thing. You're wrong!

Not at all. Some Bloodites communicated with him a while back. Have you seen his reply to Tekedon?DustFalcon85 wrote:Well maybe creating a post about Stephan joining The Postmortem was probably a bad idea. Am I wrong?
<Boilerplate> Thing is MoonStalkeR: You seem to be suffering from schizphernia, which the MoonStalkeR personality is your base one, Mobius is the aggressive personality, Krypto is the depressive personality, Nautalus is the pervert personality, etc

Re: Stephan Weyte should join The Postmortem.
While I don't think he "should" do anything, I'd definitely be very happy to have Mr.Weyte record a short welcoming message for The Postmortem that could be played back as you first visit the web page. Of course, that's mere wishful thinking, but hell, wouldn't it be cool?
Re: Stephan Weyte should join The Postmortem.
Totally not. You're free to create a thread you want to and don't let it bring your spirits down if not everyone just agrees with it, that's always bound to happen.DustFalcon85 wrote:Well maybe creating a post about Stephan joining The Postmortem was probably a bad idea. Am I wrong?
