Holiday Plans

Post by Lawstiker » Dec 22nd, 2011, 13:02

You heard me, what holidays plans do you guys have in mind?

My family has just the strangest plans for Christmas. Both my uncle and father have a thing for Mexican and this has resulted in them warping our Christmas dinner into "Taco Fiesta Dinner Time" where, you guessed it, we're having taco's, salads and who knows what other special Mexican delights they can think up.

Likely going to my father's place and grabbing a laptop with me so I can do some Steam achievements while I'm at it. I'm not much of a christmas person, really.

There's something called the Stargate Festival here that's been going on annually in the capital city. Friends and I purchased tickets yesterday and I lost mine. Now I have to buy another one and I can't afford it.

Oh and I'm talking about the New Years Eve because we don't celebrate the Catholic Christmas. We have Christmas but it's not a party kind of thing, more of a religious tradition. And it doesn't coincide with the Catholic Christmas.

I have nothing planned. Very exciting.

Basic christmas with family (father, mother, brother and visits to families). Eating good, relaxing, sauna, sauna beer, eating again and then relaxing.
It doesn't feel like christmas now, too little snow. But then again, I think that's because you get older and you duller by mind.

I'm ascetic, silence and solitude sooths my soul.

Staying over at my fiancée's parents whilst most of her family visit for dinner. Unlike the Christmas's passed, i'm rather looking forward to this one.

Going on a gaming rampage of some sort. Going to play through id's RAGE and Eidos Montreal's Deus Ex: Human Revolution: The Missing Link.

Meeting up with family, some from very far afield.

Rock climbing, shooting, games, good food.
