"Hung" is the past tense and past participle of "hang". In this particular case though "hanging" would have been a more suitable choice. However if a picture is "hung" for visual pleasure then could a corpse not also be "hung" for visual pleasure? Perhaps this matter should be investigated further...
At a time like this, I saw a strange coconut in a corpse hung on a coconut tree. It struck me how beautiful it really was, despite having a prominent and toxic smell. However alien it was, dripping with eeriness and somehow smiling, I suddenly felt a compelling urge to release the caged baboons to climb the tree and attempt to feast upon this unorthodox repast.

Howling, the baboons demanded their release at the gates of the Dark Carnival. I ran to the vending machine and secretly pressed the release combination. Suddenly there were tons of little mutated cattle wranglers kicking and goring the ferocious baboons, who became helpless. The baboons, however, had another purpose. They grabbed the adjustable monkey wrenches *

* because what other kind of wrench would a baboon use!

I used a full stop there because I thought it would be more dramatic.

Incorrect.

A corpse cannot be hanged because it is already dead. You cannot execute a corpse.

Impressive, good sir. How are you doing, by the way? (Well, besides the sleeplessness)

Good point. An inanimate object can be hung.

Unless it was an undead, cannibal corpse.
