Walk in the woods with U
Re: Walk in the woods with U
Finland always keeps surprising me. I love late evenings by the sea/lake with some makkara.
Re: Walk in the woods with U
I would love the sight of more captivating nature porn when possible

LOL HI!
Re: Walk in the woods with U
Well, I took camera with me for weekend. Although the snow situation is good for this time of year, it wasn't quite enough to get good photos. Here's three photos anyway:

The familiar view, about ten or so meters from sauna. No after sauna swimming though... (notice: rabbit footprints)

Warming up the fireplace.

Cats rather stay inside this time of year.

Beautiful photographs - thanks for sharing.
"All right, I'm going to ask you a series of questions. Just relax and answer them as simply as you can."

YARR! PREPARE TO BE LOOTED, PILLAGED AND POSSIBLY WINKED AT!
I'm now hijacking this thread from the notorious Finnish Madman to introduce you all to the humble flora of my scenic garden, from Summer that is. Except this bastardised forum function butchers high res images so we'll have to make do with linkies and resizing, or you could just view the entire dimensional width and height by opening the image in a new window, who knows!
First, the innocent garden squirrel munching on crumb bread.

I'm rather surprised at the dreamy, misty effect imposed, and you catch a peek of the Tomato plant! (dead now sadly, oh how you proved to be a wondorous friend!)

Good gravy what happened to the quality!? Also it would appear our little friend has reverse engineered the bread back into it's original state!

Behold! We'be stumbled across the voluptous vine/wasp nest stretching across the near entirity of the fence, how wonderful! I stand right by the dazzling display of colourful Flies, Wasp and other assorted Bumblebees, although a focused shot on the subjects in question fails miserably here.

A hurrah! from yours truly, while still being aware of the multitude of wasps behind me as demonstrated in my uncanny facial expression

Ah the infusion of green and yellow is a feast for the creative mind! Also I honestly can't recollect why my hair was in such a manner.

I hate how cameras completely distort natural/spontaneous expressions, but my god just look at the marvelous, lush vista of curling bushes, a sagely tree and the rather rare sight of clear blue sky for now..

Yes, yes I do admire Monolith's Gargoyle gesture, what about it?
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l244/ ... C00423.jpg
Oh joy more of these yellow pods
http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l244/ ... C00424.jpg
A single Honeybee stuck on the fence it seems
I actually pet those!

Our yellow rose bush!

And then their was silence.. until next time!
Umnir can go berserk now.

For fun! Ranting against the world's shenanigans
Do you intend to continue with showcasing the Finnish country?

Re: Walk in the woods with U
Perhaps, but I have been quite lazy with camera lately.. I guess I could try take some "urban" photos.. if you can call it urban around here.
LOL HI!
Re: Walk in the woods with U
I'm curious to see what is "urban" around there, so I'd like to see.
Bonus points is you can capture something which could be described as "classic Finnish architecture".

That's the place where you go to alone, with your axe of choice and bottle of koskenkorva and whip yourself to primal state.
LOL HI!
