The forum appears to have a reached a perpetual state of undeadness, now embalmed in life. Hurray for it staying that more blood may be required of it's covenanters.

Posty lives again.

How many life essences did it take to resurrect? :P

I think we all missed the blowout party on Blood's 20th anniversary, but the wiki says there's still chance till June 20; Come on guys get the corpse kegs lined up!

Also, the oldest Blood-related video available on youtube, incidentally showcasing the oldest version of Blood ever leaked to the public.

Very well, Moonstalker came up with the brilliant suggestion to play some Bloodbath in celebration of the 20th anniversary, we both haven't played in 2 years :P

Can't argue with that; Excellent idea indeed. Yet there's always something preventing the gathering, as if evil forces were in place, sending people on their way and ultimately dispossessing us all from the power that is in Blood.

Definitely a larger scale Bloodbath needs to happen.

I recommend downloading Meltdown, which is easy to configure, then just idle in the lobby where you can easily host or join other games.

Much to my disgrace, it all comes down to a matter of internet speed, and right at this very moment the situation isn't looking favorable.

We only get a very slow and unreliable adsl over here in this hole in the middle of nowhere, and there's no incentive whatsoever for anybody to provide a better service, so there's hardly a time when multiplayer games are viable for me.

And if you think that sounds like a bad deal, I read this article where it says that over 5 million people are stuck with 56K in the US alone...

So it may happen, but I can't really tell when :/

Well, the US is barbaric country so I don't wonder why. :D

Blood is 20 years old... jeebus, how the time flies! (not the insect).

I was thinking of Blood recently. Magical times it was when I saw it the first time. It was the same times when I also saw carmageddon. I've wanted to play that game too every now and then but I think it's the kind of nostalgia that you want to leave to you mind only. Replaying those games won't bring your childhood back - in fact they will only tarnish them. Let the memories be memories! ^_^

There's always the 30th birthday.

Maybe something magical will happen on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd etc.

I was hoping for the return of Matt, as he appears to have gone AWOL :(

I have listened to these before in a downloaded archive. A groovy set of unused tracks, most of which sound too arcadish and retro to fit into the final product that is Blood, indicating a soundtrack direction that was originally oriented more towards Doom's style. blood1 is an exception, as it would fit particularly well in Crystal Lake, something which the zblood author realized

blood4 might have found a good place in the map Fire and Brimstone. I think demo1-2 would also fit, they sound straight out of an 80s slasher film. One of the other tracks is named "huynia", a Russian word which roughly translates to bullshit. EFANFARE brings feelings of nostalgia in the way it sounds typical for a vintage application's launch screen.
