This was probably brought up in the past, but has anyone investigated the mysterious gill beast die-off that happens if one jumps in and out of the water in the first E2M9 cavern (the one opened via plunger detonator)?

Another Blood review
Good amount of effort but it felt like he was grasping at straws when he brought up a supposed inconsistency in level themes as a con. With the exception of Dead Reckoning, the level progression feels natural and there is somewhat of a unity in each episode.
