using tile #2501 instead o #2500 works for me - the moon is in another position, and the sky isn't garbled. and what's more i have two sector there with the same parallaxed sky and it seems, when i changed tile from #2500 to #2501, the rest of the skies changed to that automagically.

you are talking about barrel not exploding, even after shotting it with shotgun, aren't you? well, put it neatly on the floor instead of flattening it on the wall. tnt barrels are meant to stay on ground, not to imitate paintings on the wall. and by the way - if you shot your barrel with alteranate ...

i started today making a map. or rather remaking the one i lost when i cleaned completely my disk. it's nice to draw rooms, adjust floor or ceiling height, choose textures and such other design stuff. suddenly i stumbled upon one problem. a problem for me - personally. shading. man, i HATE it! blah...

yeah, i see we now have another flamewar generating topic. there are such as "linux vs windows", "quake vs ut", pc vs console" or "christmas vs easter". and now we should add "win98 vs dosbox". as for sound in win98 - i am another person, who didn't make sound working in dos. and not watching cutsce...

i did not play the witcher yet, but the game is constructed in a way you don't need to know books to know what's going on in game. afaik in game you play with witcher, who got some sort of amnesia, so everything needed for gameplay will be told there. so it shall make no difference i suppose. i look...

as for running blood on dosbox and high end computers - can be a computer with amd athlon xp 3000+ (or was it 3200+? don't remember and i cannot check it, for i am not in my house right now) with 512mb of some sort of average memory, with geforce 5700 (if it even matters here, as dosbox is a burden ...

happens sometimes. but when remaking your map, new ideas tend to hop into your head and thus you can make the even better version of your screwed map. :)
