Re: Caleb's backstory

Daedolon always says that the villain(?) from Dust Devil is like 99% Caleb, so that might be a good place to look for a backstory.

Re: Some Cryptic Passage stuff

Wow, that's interesting to see that it originally had a different title to go along with the different artwork. I wonder how far it got before it was changed?

Re: Bloodlines...lives...again!

I've been kept updated via the various Discord posts you make on Duke4, but I'm very interested in seeing this finished. I love Blood mods even if they're sometimes a nightmare to set up.

Re: Which games have you beaten?

But there's still hardly any risk considering that you cannot be killed during a glory kill which restores health. I mean, I see your point, but not all forms of regenerative health are exactly the same in execution and tactics. For example, a game that I'm actually working on has a buff that gets t...

Re: Which games have you beaten?

Yeah but the room isn't empty when you do a glory kill normally...? Sure it isn't your typical regenerating health but it certainly is a lot like one. But okay, if I claimed that it is actually regenerating health, then I retract my statement, but I don't recall mentioning it in the review...

Re: Which games have you beaten?

It's a technicality. Glory kills give health back and since it's such a big part of the game, you could argue it is a form of regenerating health, especially considering if your health is really low, you get a ton of health back from a glory kill.

Re: Which games have you beaten?

I'm too lazy to write down all that is wrong with it since I've already done that in a review I wrote for it on Steam here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/supersonikyouth/recommended/379720 Note: The game was being advertised as a "throwback" and my review points out the many differences that they're ...

Re: The Supreme Topic of Miscellaneous Knowledge

As an addendum, many of the songs on the Brian Eno album that features "Stars" were also made into short, neat ambient sounds as well. "Stars" is the only one that I could find initially until listening to the whole album.

Don't forget ERIE BOAT DOCKS from the boxart! :D Also, the word "abysmal" is not the right word to use to describe a level.
