A Bloodbath challenge.

If a challenger can defeat me in a game to 30 kills I will give away a Sennheiser: PC 350 headset, mint in its packaging.

How difficult of a task can that be? Could be easy, could be tough. Who knows!

Re: Letter to Atari, Inc.

Could just take the Duke Nukem Forever approach - eventually (in 10 years) we'll see an official release of the source code.

Re: New Textures for Blood...

It's a shame the concept never really took off in Blood (or the other two popular Build Engine games) like it did with Doom 2 or Quake in their .wad and .bsp format. Dedicating the time to compile new decent looking art, sfx, music, a usermap into a .rff / .grp, and making use of the parameter comma...

Re: Random quirks in Blood

Sure enough that does happen in multiplayer (be it cooperative or Bloodbath). There is a small window where you can still fire off a few shots before respawning or in this case if you're still holding TNT or a spray can they will explode. With the various bugs that comes with Blood's version of the ...

Re: Known Blood Bugs?

The infamous teleport sound from the Guns Akimbo crypt in E1M1: Cradle to Grave.

A fully functioning teleporter that still works in a debunked way as shown in this video during a Bloodbath.

We really need to finish it and release something.

Lead it not to the vaporware. Introduce it to the swarm infested Lith Tech, you shall not!

The masses will be pleased with a textual or visual update.

Like a vlogger, always keep a video recording device / application at your side.

Very cool "feature" to observe.

Re: Blood usermaps and Mapedit queries.

Sometimes it's good to feel pain to know that you're alive! So, lead to the foot wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

Now onto searching for the holy grail - IE: four true sector over sector stacks without the risk of triggering a hall of mirror effect.

Re: Blood usermaps and Mapedit queries.

I always prefer the more complex methods, but Shift+B works wonders! Much appreciated, good sirs! Le Babe- yes, the map is being designed by me from the ground up for a fast paced Bloodbath game. It's actually a map that is well played in Doom 2, so figured I might as well introduce it to Blood sinc...

Re: Blood usermaps and Mapedit queries.

The only way that happened was by a fluke after modifying another sector. Yet I can't find a way to duplicate it manually.
