Re: Blood as a legal, mainstream IP saga and not just two old FPS
Let's rather not turn this thread into something it's not about. Martin asked nicely.

Re: Which games have you beaten?
Do tell more. What little I read of it some months ago seemed to indicate that they were looking to try return to the roots, which seemed quite unlikely at the time.

Re: The Supreme Topic of Miscellaneous Knowledge
Hilariously, the Corax AI added this in the form of a report to Jarmo's previous post. "BLOOD SHAREWARE 0.99c [Mar 25 1997] INSTALL.EXE 03.06.97 02:21:58 MONO320.PCX 02.27.97 15:13:24 SHARE.SHR 03.25.97 13:28:04" For good measure I'll paste my list of Blood versions: UNOFFICIAL Blood alpha (leaked) ...

Re: Blood as a legal, mainstream IP saga and not just two old FPS
Thanks for sharing your story. It's nice to hear you have such a rich horror background and can appreciate the finer aspects of horror that seem to be lost in recent years. Blood's community is so small that to find specialists of the sort you've described would be quite challenging to say the least...

Re: Confounded .bat Dosbox Struggles
Thanks for your aid thus far. Your example works on the part of Startx, but it seems to trip up when it comes to applying Dosbox's configuration file and I begin with the empty Z:. I'll present what I've currently got here and for purposes of this demonstration I'll substitute my Blood with "BloodA"...

Re: Confounded .bat Dosbox Struggles
I may be mistaken on this, but the "-conf" parameters are limited strictly to shortcuts. It seems that Dosbox defaults to the configuration file in /appdata/local, but I'm unsure as to what determines that. As both Dosboxes will by default point to that configuration file, it is not suitable. In sho...

Re: Reviews of the Sin campaign and download it here.
Greetings Nemo, I finally found the time to investigate this matter. The breaking of repeated triggers such as these have long been a thorn in my side and the problem is prevalent amongst retail maps as well where it occurs. The link command is certainly more "trustworthy" and stable for affairs suc...

Confounded .bat Dosbox Struggles
Greetings. This has nothing to do with the bat monster in Blood. I've a question for those who might be in the know. Posty is nuts enough to perhaps have the answer to this. I'd try elsewhere, but it somewhat blurs the line between various different applications. I think a mediocre understanding of ...

Re: Reviews of the Sin campaign and download it here.
Greetings, I still have yet to take a look, but I am interested in doing so. The world beyond this one has stolen my dark energies of late and I have not been afforded nearly as much time to dedicate to this magnificent title as I would like. Rest assured, I am clawing my way back and will return wi...

Re: Some Cryptic Passage stuff
It's "staged" and is not from any level. The structure is of course taken from Cryptic's final map. I suppose it was just something fun they threw together during development, or perhaps a screenshot they'd intended to use for their cinematics and later scrapped. I think it may appear on the actual ...

Re: Greetings to the Blood Community
People forgot that we are somewhat strict about keeping things on topic in the BLOOD section... most of the time. Anyway, this is amongst the most famous threads of Posty. Let's keep it pure for the day in which Jace decides to return. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have time to read about socialism dur...

I like how it confuses the "edit" and "quote" functions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=5jfrbzrbaCk Фактически моя собачка :D I still don't know what to make of this nascent, mildly retarded AI, but it does entertain me so.
