Re: Last movie(s) you watched?
The movie is probably going to be good, I'm just concerned if the story will be at all relevant or interesting.

Re: Which games have you beaten?
You can't die while collecting life essences in an emptied out room either.
But you can die while rushing to another enemy when you are low on health and have no other choice.
Perhaps the mechanic makes things too easy but don't call it something that it's not.

Re: Which games have you beaten?
Well, I can't really speak for the game itself as I haven't played it but having to kill a monster to collect health seems exactly the opposite from hiding from monsters to regenerate health out of combat. I guess it comes down to balancing the difficulty properly, but as a game design choice, it do...

It doesn't actually have regenerating health.

Re: Which games have you beaten?
It definitely appears like it went back to the roots but many people argue otherwise. I can't really say if the game is any good without having tried it myself. Multiplayer is supposed to be very close to the original experience but apparently people say that is not true either. I'd love to know if ...

Re: Confounded .bat Dosbox Struggles
Actually, having two differently configured copies of DosBox doesn't sound like that bad of a solution. Just make a copy of DosBox and rename the altered conf file as default.

I like how it confuses the "edit" and "quote" functions.

Re: Having trouble getting Final Alone in the dark to run
BLOOD used to be pretty simple with a cfg file for settings and an ini file that ties a campaign together. Now things are more confusing with various dosbox .conf files, desktop shortcuts, bmouse, launchers, etc. The main point is that you can't just swap blood.exe with fait.exe somewhere and expect...

Re: Having trouble getting Final Alone in the dark to run
I have no idea what faitd.exe is supposed to do, but there has to be something like "faitd.ini" which is loaded instead of blood.ini. That's how custom campaigns work. See if this ini file has any paths refering to drive X and change that to C.
